Joseph Allen b abt 1752 VA

Joseph Allen was probably born in VA about 1752. He is said to have served in the Rev. War. He married Dorothy 'Dolly' Walker in Mason Co KY 1787. Had sons James and Henry. Can anyone help me find his parents?
