Hello Faye, that was a fare bit of information, thank you for sharing it, I have copied it to William Allin's file. As you know I am hopeful for information on his 3 children, they are the blood relatives to me by his wife Ethel Wyse Weymouth, daughter of Thomas Wyse Weymouth ESQ, of Loddiswell, Devon & Anne Philppa _____? I am also hopeful of Wyse information out of Devon, which has been hard to obtain, even though they were there for 100s of years and one branch went to Ireland, later marrying into Napoleon's family and well known, (however not the branchI am researching ). Maybe you have some clues as to how I can obtain Wyse information of my direct ancestors. I known some were in Totnes, Sydenham, Kingsbridge, and they connect to the Allins with Ethel.
I have since found this which seems to pertain to my group; I am not sure what it means either ! Anne Thomas Maria, who they are etc...

Rev Alfred's son : Lt Harold Wyse Allin, appears to be of the King's shropshire light Infantry, dying 13 Dec 1917....Killed in action, probably unmarried too.
Elfreda may have married ???
Winifred Evelyn is listed in the section: Heart of the South Hams; so I take it she was unmarried as her Allin name is still active.
