Hi Patsy and Randy,
This Jesse Amason, who arrived in Tejas, Mexico in 1834, fought in the Texas Revolution at the Siege of Bexar and San Jacinto, was Elmar Amason's great grandfather.
This Jesse Amason was the brother of my 2nd great grandfather, and the nephew of the Jesse Amason, who lived in Union Co. Arkansas.
I'm expecting to see both of you in Nacogdoches, Texas June 13-15 at the 2008 A*A HQ...........and we will be seeing the graves of Sarah Ann (Inman) Amason, wife of Jesse, buried in the same cemetery as my Amason family.
