Jedediah Amidon (husband of Hannah Walker) was the son of Capt. Henry Amidon and Sarah Doubledee. Jedediah would be my 5G Uncle. According to www.parsonstech.com/genealogy/trees/jwhite/d13.htm: Jedediah Amidon served in the Revolutionary War as a Private on the Lexington Alarm from the town of Willington, and served nine days; as a Corporal beginning May 1, 1775 in Capt. Thomas Knowlton's Company, Third continental Regiment, Col. Israel Putnam. This Company was stationed principally at Cambridge, Mass., and participated in the Battle of Bunker Hill. His term of service expired December 16, 1775. He also sherved as a Sargeant from June to December 1776 in Capt. Parker's Company; and as Captain beginning June 10, 1777 of the 10th Company, 22nd Regiment, Connecticut Militia. He was placed on the pension roall on September 14, 1833.
