Thomas and Elizabeth Ammon had 11 girls.2 must have died young. The other 9 had all married before Thomas's death in 1811.The only ones about whom I have much info are Elizabeth and Susannah. (more on them to follow)Anyway, Margaret married John Steers jFanny married Willialm Holladay between 1790 and 1796, Nancy married Samuel Arnett, Sally lmarried Cornelius Hall, Cleary married John Ward and Patsy married James Pointexter. You know about Polly.Susannah married James McClelland, son of William McClelland. She died before 1811 leaving l. Elizabeth (Betsy) McClelland b. 1800 who married Warren Woodson and had Susan and Olivia. 2. Juliana McClelland born 1802 who married Joseph Trigg and had Juliana Trigg.3. Olilvia McClelland born 1804 who married John Bent and had Virginia, Martha and James Bent.
Elizabeth Ammon, my ancestor, married Robert McClelland (also a son of William) 3 January 1799 in Millersburg, Bourbon Co. KY. and had 10 children by him.In 1827 the family, all except my ancestor William Elisha McClelland, moved to County MO where Elizabeth died 6 August 1831.Depending on how much info you want on their descendents, I can innundate you with names, undouobtedly more than you ever wanted to know about the McClellands!
