Looking for information for James Dillard Anderson and Joseph Sterling Anderson born Lynchburg, Virginia, sons of James P. Anderson and Elizabeth Dillard. These brothers were born between late 1817 to 1830, but probably 1822 or before.Did they go to Montgomery County, Tennessee with their parents about 1837 or did one or both remain in Virginia?I'm especially interested in birth and death dates, and marriages if possible.I've identified nine of the Anderson siblings by name, but need more details that can be documented. There are still two brothers and one sister born before 1830 in Virginia that remain a mystery to me. I'd like to correspond with descendants or cousins of James P. and Elizabeth Dillard Anderson. Some names connected to them in Virginia and/or Tennessee were Starke, Dillard, Hardwick, Beaumont, West, Christian, Stovall, Kelly, Jones, Montgomery, and Stevens. Order of the oldest children is not known.

Edwin Wyatt Anderson contracted TB during the Civil War.On the advise of his doctor he walked from Graves, Kentucky to Waco, McClennan, Texas where he died by 1874.I'm curious to know why Waco, Texas was chosen as his destination. It's possible that he had friends or relatives in that area.
One of the older Anderson brothers may have married their 1st cousin Sarah J. Hardwick of Dickson, Tennessee. After her Anderson husbands death Sarah married Thomas J. Kelly of Maury Tennessee, widower of her sister Elizabeth J. F. Hardwick. They were the daughters of Jonathan P. Hardwick and Frances Horsely Dillard.
