G'day mate how are you? My name is Ronnie Aragon and i'm from as you can tell Australia. My family is from & is still in the Philippines, I feel that what you said in your post relates alot to me and my family. My mothers father name was; Federico Aragon, i was told that he was a seaman in the USA navy and that he was from a Spanish decesnt 'Castil or Castilo' something like that, he has sisters and brothers which i dont know of except for one, nor where exactly my grandfather was from in the Philippines, for he past before i was born.My mothers family consist of 12 children, 5 boys and 7 girls.
The 2 oldest went to the USA (San Dieago) one of them is still alive, however both have 3 children each. aunt Alicia (Alice) 3 girls and aunt Josephina had 3 boys. The youngest of the girls is now living and married to a german and my mother and i live in Australia and the rest are still in the Philipines with my LOLA!
I've also been told that he had a girl friend in The USA back when he was in the navy and that they had a child together however, we dont know of her. My granfathers sister is still alive and lives in the home town of my mothers birth place however she is getting on and its been years since i've last seen her.
I hope you can relate or it jogs any memories about this ARAGON family or yours because i'd love to hear from you! My families names (aunts and uncles) all have strong spanish names heavily influenced by my grandfather, which are not normal filipino names. eg. GIRLS - Alicia, josephina, Terisita, Ellena, Elezibeth, Edita & (Emelyn) BOYS - (twins) Roberto & Jose, Antonio, Pedro & Jnr (Federico)
