Founder's Cemetery Routes 156 & 52 in Adams County, OH just outside of Manchester, OH. On a quick view, I saw graves of Moses Sterrett d.1817, Samuel Sterrett, Ellison's and Barr's. As I know these names are from my Sarah Sterrett (dau of Alexander and Mary of PA) and hus.Joseph Arbuckle's group, I did at least jot these down.
Sorry, I was in a hurry while on a short day trip, so didn't have time to note all the info I wanted to. I will try to get back there this spring or summer.
Also located near me at Evergreen Cemetery, State route 126 Miami Twp.,OHwere: John P. Arbuckle d.June 14 1846 aged 35 yrs 3 mo 5d Stone was broken off base, but uprighted, good shape and very readable(in front of him were Campbell and Gest, next to him were James Collins d.1885 and Susan and John Elliot d.1886, Johnston stones behind him). Buckinghams are very nearby. also located were: Apgar in memory of Kyle D. Barr son of Mary Barr Evertson 1877-1909 w/same headstone Geo. W. Apgar and Harriet H. Apgar, Chas. Aand Mary A. Evertson. There are many Apgars near the house on this property. Other names there that may tie to Arbuckle's are:Moore, Switzer, Price, Buchanon, Fletcher, Rambo, Kerr, Berry, Clark, Emery
Interestingly, the Apgar family are related to another Arbuckle (Samuel) that I am trying to fit to mine, many which are buried with Sam Arbuckle not very far away in Union Cemetery at the Warren/Hamilton County line in OH. The Buckinghams were Samuel's neighbors.
I would be very interested and welcome talking to anyone in these groups. I am especially seeking a tie of this Samuel Arbuckle to my Joseph Arbuckle
