For those of you who are searching the Alexander Argo who was in Fleming County, KY and married Nancy DYNES Buckley. I recently aquired the proof needed to dispute the claim that this is the same Alexander Argo of Queen Anne's Co, MD who married Mary Ann Peacock. As the Alexander Argo of Queen Anne's Co, MD is yet there in 1810 and soon involved in court proceedings that kept him there until after the death of Mary Ann he can only be assumed he could not be in two places at the same time.
In the September Term of Court in 1811 Fleming County, KY (found in Circuit Court Order Book D # 1579 September Term 1811)suit was brought against one Alex Argo by Alexander & Elizabeth DUNBAR, administrators of the estate of James Dunbar.
On the 5th day of October 1810 Alex Argo signed a note in the amount of twenty dollars promising to pay back in cash to James Dunbar on or before the 15th day of March next. This document was signed by Andrew Dunbar and Alex Argo.
James Dunbar then died before this loan was repaid and his heirs are bringing suit for payment. Alex Argo apparently didn't show for court in September 1811 and judgement was given to the plaintiff's.
