Just in case I nested this in too deep....I am making it a new message too
The first William and Jane included below (Townland of Cordevlis) are definitely my ancestors: William Argue born in 1781 (co Cavan)had a son Michael Argue born in 1809 (co Cavan) who had a son William Argue born in 1843 (co Cavan)who fought in the US Civil War from Vermont and had a son Alexander Argy born in 1872 (Massachusetts) who had a son Alexander Argy Jr born in 1910 (NY)who had a son Donald Argy born in 1932 (NY) who had a daughter Pamela Argy born in 1953 (NY)
I thought this William's wife was Jane Leviston, even though her mother is listed here as Rose Martin. From your message reply, I gather that Jane Leviston is the William's wife of the Townland of Cornawah.
Curiously, my great Aunt Alice Argy was researching a Henry Argue before she died in the 1970's. My family was wondering why.
Also, do you know how these two families are related? Are the two Williams first cousins?
