NATHAN PHILLIPS , of Elk River, CE. Co. left a will 24 May 1748 and proved 2 Jul 1748, leaving stock to his wife Jane" ( I know from research this is Jane SIMCOE), "and at her decease to James BOULDEN and Johanes ARREANS ( also spelled Johannas ARREANCES), equally, Execs. not named. The only children named were eldest son Samuel PHILLIPS and grandson John PHILLIPS. ( MWB 25:407) An Admin. account on 14 Aug. 1749 named Nathan's execs. as Johannes ARRUNUST and James BOULDING. ( MDAD 27:168)"
I know this is later than you mentioned, but the Nathan Phillips and Bouldin names might be of help.Kathy Kemp Dobe
