The book titled, The History of Randolph County, written by Lawrence Dalton and published in 1946-47, contains references to Daniel ASHABRANNER.The only reference other than those previously noted with dates is as follows:
"January 9, 1820, Daniel ASHABRANNER sold a claim on Glaze Kernon creek to Bernard ROGAN.ROGAN and Daniel CHEEK were the men who laid out the town of Currenton in 1820.ASHABRANNER is listed as being the operator of a lead mine in Madison County, Missouri, during the period around 1925-30." pages 109-110
I wonder if that should read 1825-30?
