Revisiting Ashbaugh early homestead 1738-1765
Repeat Post - I have lost two posts so far hope this one works.
I have been concentrating on working on the Frederick line in Canada for a few years, but, the idea of Henry being a squatter for around twenty years without registering a warrant has always bothered me. To do so would be totally different to what everyone else was doing. So I have been revisiting the subject and have found some interesting leads.I have some questions that will help in this research that some of my cousins may be able to answer.
Does anyone know what happened to Louis Duermyer's research papers after he passed?
Has anyone pulled the deeds on the Henry and Andrew farms located in Mt Joy twp, Adams Co.,(south of Two Taverns) warranted through Lancaster, to establish purchase dates?
Is anyone else interested in working on this issue?
David
