Wow!!That's so wonderful of you to give us new beginners such an enormous break!Thank you!
I am apparently a descendant of Nicolas Audet and Magdeleine's son Innocent Audet and Genevieve Lemelin, however I can't make the connection all the way yet. I wonder if you could help me with that.
My mother's name is Fleurette St. Georges (b. 1931 - m. Desforge), her mother's name is Antoinette Bureau (b. 1896?? - m. Simeon St. Georges - d. 1974 Sturgeon Falls, Ont.), and her mother's name is Rose Anna Audet (b. ?died about 1937).Rose Anna is the daughter of Jean Audet and Celanire (Celanise?) Verette.Rose Anna's brothers are Eugene Audette, Arsene Audett and sister Sarah Audette. She married Daniel Bureau, and I have absolutely no information on his line, but I would like to if someone has any info on him.
The family of Jean and Celanire lived in the U.S. at some point probably before 1910.Most likely in Fall River, Massachusetts or St. Albans, Vermont, or both.I found a Rosana Audet and Sara Audet in Merrimack County, New Hampshire, in the 1910 U.S. Census, but I have no clue if these are the same two, and being there only with Sarah in that year doesn't make sense to me, as she would have been with Daniel by then?? Yet he doesn't appear in this census.
There is also a full-blooded aboriginal line somewhere around this time, but I'm not sure where it comes from, and who exactly started it.Possibly Celanire?I have no clue which it is, Canadian or American Indian line, or which First Nation it's from.Any help on this would be very welcomed, as aboriginals are very difficult to search.
