I live and farm in the "Paradise" district of Victoria Australia. The very back paddock is named after Violet and the front block is named after Andy. David Austerberry in England is your best source of Austerberry infomation, Frank Raeburn who's farm I lease is a keen historian and would be of assistance to you both,he is either Violet and Andrews son or nephew. The Austerberry's and Raeburns have a long and strong association in this region of the world, both farming and by marrage. The Paradise farming and gold mining district is located between St Arnaud and Stawell, 10 Kilometers north of Navarre. The original Raeburn property was called Bellfield and the original Austerberry property was named Splendene. I believe they would be buried at either Navarre or Landsbrough cemeterys. Bellfield or Violets ( nuggety gully )as its known now was a rich gold field home to over 5000 miners in the late 1880s.
