Elizabeth BAGNALL married William KELLY at Ofally (Kings) County, about 1830, somewhere near Tullamore, linked to Kilbride parish and Clonminch townland.
Son William KELLY emmigrated to Australia in 1850s on ship "Persia". He named his home in northern New South Wales "Clonminch". His brother Thomas ("Gonger") had migrated to Australia earlier, after adventures in South Africa.
Later Australian records give William's parents as William KELLY and Elizabeth BAGNALL, from Tullamore.
Griffith's Valuation gives a William KELLY and several BAGNALL families in Clonminch townland.
Have searched other Bagnall sites and found many good links, but dates ascribed are a puzzle. For example Elizabeth is said to have been born in 1791, with her mother Elizabeth SKERRITT born 1777, i.e. she becomes a mother at 14 years old. I imagine this was much more common then in rural Ireland than it is today.
Elizabeth BAGNALL's parents seem to be Robert BAGNALL born 1771, Tullamore and Elizabeth SKERRITT born 1779, Tullamore.
