Hi cousin:
Sorry to get you so confused but I'm likely to confuse you more.Alexander Baillie married both Annie Mathesoon and Elizabeth Baillie not Sutherland. His parents were William "Budihe" Baillie' a Crofter born in Parish of Clyde, Sutherlandshire,Scotland who was married to Elizabeth MacKay, also born in Clyde.William "Budihe" known parent was Kenneth Baillie who was also bornand died in Parish of Clyde in Sutherlandshire. He was also a crofter. The other William Baillie born in 1760 is the father of Elizabeth Baillie who was married to Alexander. He was married to Christiana Sutherland. This William Baillie was also born in the Parish of Clyde in 1760 and died on March 20,1847 and is buried in Earltown Cemetary in Nova Scotia. Christiana Sutherland was born in 1765 in Clyde and Died on Apr.16,1849 and is also buried in Earltown.Alexander is also my gg grandfather. His son Angus was my ggrandfather. So we are definately related.I spent all my summers growing up in Nova Scotia so I know some of the later generations.Definately try Glen Mathesons Earltown roots web site. All of our family tree is on there and I know you'll find it interesting.I live in Dunstable, Massachusetts. My mother and one sister out of eight of them came to the US.I love talking to you and hope to hear from you soon.Hope I have been of some help and didn't confuse you more.My email address is ClanBaillie @cs.com.
Carol
