Landry Baillio, the seventh child of Pierre Baillio and Magdelaine Emelio Lacour, was b. Rapides Parish 1806 or 1807, and d. there Aug 3, 1875.The Louisiana Democrat of Aug 18, 1875 had the following notice of his death:
Died:On the 3rd inst. at the residence of his brother on Bayou Robert, in this parish, Landry Baillio, in the 68th year of his age.
He d. at the home of his brother Gervais Baillio, at Rosalie Plantation on Bayou Robert, about 6 miles below Alexandria.He is buried in Rapides Cemetery, Pineville, LA.
All of the Baillios of Landry's generation were raised Catholic, but Landry apparently left the Catholic Church and became an ardent Mason, rising high in the order and buried by that organization...
On Jan 16, 1838, Landry Baillio m. Clara Amelia Brown (Bible records have this name as Clara Adeline Brown; her descendants in 1960 said it was Clara Amelie Brown) b. Dec 20, 1823, and d. Dec 17, 1891.She is buried in Rapides Cemetery.She was the dau of John Brown and Clara Layssard of Island Plantation on Bayou Rapides.This plantation is also known as Brown's Bend and is believed to have come down to the family from the Layssards.

Nov 16, 1941.She was the dau of Govan Williams.In the Louisiana Democrat of Eed., Aug 28, 1878, there is the following notice of their marriage:
Married:At the residence of Judge J. H. Sullivan, Lloyd's Bridge, this parish, on Aug 25, 1878, Miss Mary Williams, dau of the late Govan Williams, to Mr. Pius A. Baillio.
To this union was b. Govan Williams Baillio.
Govan Williams Baillio, called Vannie, was b. June 24, 1879, on the old Brown Plantation, near alexandria, Rapides Parish, LA, and d. in Dallas, TX, on Oct 26, 1941.He left Rapides Parish many years before his death and resided in Texas.Like his father before him, he was active in the Masonic Order.
He was m. Oct 8, 1902, to Florence Buckingham, dau of Holley R. Buckingham of Cincinnati, OH, and Florence Tarleton of "Shadyside" Plantation, St. Mary Parish, LA.She was b. Apr 8, 1878 at Alto Pass, IL, and is living at this date (1960) in Dallas, TX.Five children were born of this marriage, the first four in New Orleans, LA, and the last one in Houston, TX.These children were:
