Vicey Barnwell was a full-blooded Muscogee Creek indian, whose original name was Vicey Hardridge.Vicey was a survivor of the Monmouth sinking on the Mississippi, and as of 1860, was reported to own 20 slaves.
Although Hardridge is a common name among Creeks today, I've never been able to track her family back earlier than her.
Vicey and John had only one child that I know of, Pricilla Barwell. I have no records of Robinson.
Priscilla married full-blooded Muscogee Creek indian David Doyle. She and David had a number of children, one of whom was my great-grandmother.If you send me your contact information, I'll send you an invite to my ancestry.com family tree.:)
