It appears you are on the right track. The other Abners' family were all from Middleboro and yours from Plympton.
I was at the local library here on Cape Cod, the town of Chatham. The have a very good genealogical library but they didn' have the Edmond Tilson book. The New England Historic Genealogical Society has it.They are in Boston but requires membership to borrow their books from the lending library. I pay an annual dues of $75.00 and get to borrow their books for a small book fee. Also I have access to all their data bases on-line. For me it was a worthwhile venture.
Lois must have been a very popular in the Tilson line. There is a Lois Tilson that married Benjamin Barrows. She was from Plympton and he from Carver, the ajoining town. Benjamin was the son of my gr. gr. gr. gr. gr. grandfather George Barrows, 1670- 1758. Lois was born in 1720 and died in 1756. Benjamin remarried to Hannah Warren Atwood. Then moved to Hebron, Maine and they died there.
