Robert is listed in the1911censusas RobertBateson he is list ed withhis familyat 17CairnesSt., At the time the census was taken Robert was 46 years old and a general laborer. He was still married, born in Belfast City. It further notes that he could read andwrite and was Roman Catholic
Bridget Bridget is listed as being18 in the 1911 census. Living at 17 Cairns St. She is listed as single and born in Scotland. She is not listed as either a student or employed, family lore says she died at a young age possibly of consumption . She workedat theasylumwhichis where sheprobably contracted Te consumption which we call TB today. The asylum was the namegiven to the hospital for people who could not pay for medical care.
