Hi All, I have a photocopy of "Notes from the HISTORY OF THE BEDDOE FAMILY WITH ADDENDA AND GENEALOGICAL TABLES" by Albert Ferdinand Beddoe, Dallas, 1829.I ordered it from some archival place (library?) in Texas, I believe, but I've forgotten the details. It was part of the "Louis Crocket Papers."
Is anyone familiar with this paper?I have several questions on it.
Seems the 1829 publication date typed on the cover sheet is a typo, right?I think the latest date I've seen inside is 1929...
Does anyone know anything about the "William Beddoe of Missouri" who is mentioned in the acknowledgements on page 11?My direct ancestor was William Beddoe who lived in Rolla, Missouri about that time...Is there a connection between William Beddoe and the lineage described in the paper?Sure seems likely, but where...?
Thanks for any information you may be able to provide!
