Hello Jeanetta:
Going to Ireland is expensive, and with your limited info, is unlikely to be fruitful. It's better to search the two online databases (one free, one pay) which collectively contain surviving B/M/D rcds for 27 of Ireland's 32 counties. The following is from the pay database (which has fairly extensive FREE search featuress).
For John Begley B 1856 +/- 3 yrs, somewhere in Ireland, with a father forenamed Tho(mas), I found 1 rcd, 1855, Co. Limerick, St. Munchin's RC parish.
For Thomas Begley M 1851 +/- 4 yrs, I found 1 rcd, 1847, Co. Clare (which abuts Co. Limerick). Since you don't have Ann's maiden name, you will have to pay to see the detailed rcd to see what the bride's names were. If it happens to be ANN, then there is a good chance it is for your ancestor.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
