Iam sorry I never recieved your post I missed it.
I really cant repy to all of this at this point.
Iam trying to get this referance point on the true line staring with Thomas Benger sr. By all the new documents it shows that Richard Benjey from maryland had 2 brothers Robert Samuel and then close relative John. Richards will shows that John Benger was his son. The will of John Bengershows that Thomas sr was his son. he signed his name witha x. Therefore the variation from Benger to Benge was written by a clerk on Ablemarle deed.
If there was Indianfrom Thomas Bengers sr wife it should have comefrom tuscaroa chief tom blunt a partner of John Cotton who gave much land to David Lewis. Yet Cotton Benge shows or indiactes the blood line by naming pattern came by the Blunt Cotton line as female mother of at least Thomas Benge.
So a lot more work needs to be done. Cotton Benge lived on the same land as Thomas Benge and they were both in Ablemarle at the same time ill try to speed some things up and get back.
