This is the text of a letter written by Pvt. John Berger on December 15, 1918. The owner of an antique shop in Savannah Ga gave me the letter a number of years ago. The address of the recipients is unknown. I have a theory that Pvt. Berger may have been from Indian or Ohio. I have left all of the spelling and grammar variations as they appear in the letter. If you can identify Pvt. Berger, please let me know.
