I agree, about the extra tails on the end.... and there definitely is a lot of Catherines. If I had not visited with Ivy though, probably would never have figured it out. LOL!!!If there was ever any money, I'm sure it was spent in raising all the children of Simon Jefferson's 13 children and John Nelson's 9 children. Rosina's line has been very difficult to follow and trace. Rosanna/Rosina parents were John Cortney/Courtney/Courtny and Eve Bishop. I have Eve's parent's also, but do not have all my papers with me right now, so will get that to you later.Simon and Rosina were married in 1848. John and Eve also had the following children Timothy, Cyrus, Amos, Monroe, Emeline, Malon and Taylor. Simon and Rosina had the following children: Braham(Abraham) J.went by Jackson Simon Jefferson(my line) Franklin Pierce (Pearson?) Anna John Nelson According to family lore, they only spoke English in public, and spoke Dutch/German the rest of the time, up until the War.As you get back further in this line you will find that many of our ancestors were Mennonite and or Amish. You mentioned the Snyder's....my maternal grandfatherSnyder and we have a lot of information on that line as well. But will e-mail you about that line.
