Bethea........Edwards connection?
My ancestor, Mary Unknown Edwards named in her will in Marlboro Co., SC two women and the section in her will that identified them was not readable.
"Copy of will in old Mail file...Recorded in will book A page 51 Case 1, Box 3 recorded 29th day of July 1806

"Knowing the weakness of my body..........last will & testament and leave Wm. Fields & Joshua Lewis Exec. Recorded 29 July 1806"
I do not know who Mary was prior to marriage but think there is a connection to Moses Parker next door through her son in law, Rev. Nathan Morris whose Mother was a Parker. The Morris family were Quakers in Pasquotank NC before moving to SC. I've found Jesse in the Marlboro census of 1800 & 1810. Did Mary Edwards have daughters who married a Bethea or a Cutalans (SP..?) and was Elizabeth Bathas her grand daughter?
My ancestor is Penelope Edwards Morris, daughter of the same Mary above.Any help appreciated.
