Sherry,
I sent you an e-mail with this information, but just in case you check this first.
Anyway, I have not had a lot of time to work on genealogy, but I have found some information on the internet. Our great grandmother Emily Bignar's maiden name was Strahan. On some of the genealogy websites they have information on the Strahans and have the pedigree for Emily going back several generations.I have also found out that she was from Washington Parish.According to Washington Parish Library's website they have an extensive genealogy section.I am not sure if they have a lot of information on the Strahans or not.I do not work on Fridays and hope to go one Friday to check it out.
I also remember Ann Owens, she was raised by our great grandfather James Bigner's sister Ollie Bigner Frasier, there is also information on the internet on Ollie which was done by the Frasiers, it has information on Ollie's husband and son that was killed in the war as well as when she died and her other sons.
Ann was a Jordan, she is my mom's double cousin, I think her mom's name was Barbara which was one of your grandmother's sisters.Ann's brother J.W. Jordan passed away this past Christmas.
