Looking for info on JACK EVANS BLACKETER b.1878, most likely Boyle Co Ky. Jack married LUCY C PRICE (b.1890 Casey Co Ky -d.1914, Junction City, Boyle Co Ky). They were married Dec 19, 1912 in Danville, Boyle Co. Marriage Bond #456.Children were: LULA CLEVELAND PRICE b.Nov,1911, WILLIE ELLEN BLACKETER b. June, 1913. Birth Certificates indicate John Blackerty and Jackson Evans Blacketer as the fathers.Prior to Lucy's marriage to Jack, Lucy had a daughter ETHEL MAY PRICE b.Jan,1907,Junction City, Boyle Co Ky and died 13 Dec, 1970 Butler Co, Ohio. ETHEL was my mother. It's very likely Jack fathered Ethel as well.
After Lucy died(1914), 1920 Boyle Co Ky census records indicate Jack had another wife, CLARA b.abt 1884 or 1891 Ky. Also living in the household was his sister, Rhoda age 64.1930 Census records show Jack (age 53) living in Dayton, Montgomery Co, Ohio with Clara (wife) age 38, daughters Lillian (age 18 b.Ky) Willie E (age 16 b.Ky) Ethel R (age 9 b.Ohio) and a son Jack, (age 2 yr b.Ky). I have other info that indicate Clara was CLARA BELL NOBLE and died abt 1967.Jack's first wife, LUCY CLEVELAND PRICE was my grandmother. She was the daugher of JOHN and MARTHA PRICE.
My mother, Ethel May never knew her family since she was sent to an orphanage in 1910 from Danville.I'm just trying to see if there is any connection here for me.It's possible my mother had two half sisters and if so, Jack would have been my grandfather. If anyone has information about this family please let me know.Thank you.Anna M Waddell
