This has been a tough line to prove.I note many of the BLANTON names online and in genealogy resources, yet not the line i am looking for.
My husband's gg grandmother was:
Sarah Louisa BLANTON b. 11 June 1852 Red River Co., TX.
She is the dtr of: Jacob BLANTON & (1.)Jane McANEAR.
Jacob BLANTON b.ca.25 Mar 1806/13 Morgan Co., AL.
He d.17 Feb 1891 in Bagwell, Red River Co., TX.
Is there a death record showing his parents names???
He and his family are shown on 1850 Red River Co. census.Sisters & brothers of our Sarah were:
Mary, Daniel, Julia, William, Benjamin, Lewis.
Is anyone else out there descended from Jacob BLANTON that can tell me what his parents names were?Supposedly it is not Elijah or John.
1830 Bedford TN census has 2 Jacob BLANTON, yet ages do not jive with pension app of our Jacob. The age of Jacob in many cases has been misleading.
He is m.(2)by 1870 census showing he is 57 and living at Robbinsville P.O. address.
Anyone else following a child of this Jacob BLANTON?
