My name is Adam Hankinson. I'm currently living in Nova Scotia, Canada and my mother is a Blenkhorn. When she was young she did a lot of genealogy work on the Blenkhorn family from Nova Scotia. She gave me a small book with the ancestors of David Blenkhorn and of course her family. She received this small book from a C. W. Blenkhorn from California in 1979. Here is what the book says .... the father of Daivd Blenkhorn is Robert T. Blenkhorn (1780-1830) who married Martha Mills (1791-1859) in 1811. But this information means that Martha Mills would to have been 12 years old to give birth to David. But recently I have found on the internet that David could have been a son to John A. Blenkhorn (1770-???) which is a brother to Robert. That's all I know about him. But my findings on the internet and from the small book my mother has say that the father of Robert T. and John A. Blenkhorn is William Blenkhorn. (May 8, 1741-August 21, 1813). He sailed from the port of Hull, England aboard the vessel "Two Friends" which departed the week of February 28, 1774. It took nine weeks to arrive at the port of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Aboard with him was his wife, Olivia Ann ____ (not sure of last name) (1745-1843), his eldest son William (born 1767), John (born about 1770), and his daughters Ann (born about 1772) and Eleanor (born 1773). The parents of William Blenkorn (1741-1813) is William (January 13, 1712-???) who married Chirstiana Sief (1718-???) on December 19, 1738. The parents of William (1712-???) are William (March 30,1690-June 12, 1746) who married Ellis Frank (about 1690 - April 14, 1729) on April 14, 1707. Me, I am also a descendent of David Blenkhorn (1803-1860) and would be happy to share information with anyone.
