In regards to this female: I have re examined the WILL OF THOMAS BLITCH, Sr-dated Dec. 13th, 1858, Effingham Co. Ga.I reside here near the court house, and also checked again THE LEGAL RECORDS OF EFFINGHAM COUNTY, by Rev. Silas Emmett Lucas, Jr, to be certain. And I quote this will:
"Give to wife, Ann Blitch..... "between all my children, to wit: Henry James Blitch, Thomas Luke Blitch, Elizabeth Blitch, Elenor Jane Blitch, Georgia Ann Blitch, CANARA ANGELICA BLITCH.appoint son, Henry James Blitch and Thomas Luke Blitch, Executors.Wit: James E. Wilson, David Wilson.
found on page 196 of Estate Records.
I have answered my own question, and was in err when I stated that she did not appear in this will.So now, we can add, with ease, this daughter if Thomas Blitch, Sr. and Ann his wife.
I also found reference to this in several other sources, such a THE WILSON PAPERS, and Huxford/Pioneers of Polk Co. and South Florida. Judy
