The Confederate soldier buried in the cemetery behind Bradshaw Chapel (Hawkins County, TN) may be the Reverend James G (not C) Blizzard from Russell County, VA.
I believe he is the son of John and Nancy Blizzard of Russell County, VA.I also believe he is the brother of Sidney (aka Sidner and Sidnor) Blizzard.
Several years ago, a descendent of James G Blizzard took me to Bradshaw Chapel where I personally observed the gravesite described.
James G Blizzard served in the 48th Va Infantry; and, Sidney Blizzard served in the 22 Va Cavalry.
Russell County marriage license records shows that the Rev James G Blizzard performed three or four marriages in Russell County, Virginia following the Civil War.
The 1880 Census for Hawkins County, Tennessee contains an entry for James G Blizzard and his family; and the info contained therein is consistent with an entry in an earlier census for Russell County, Virginia.
This posting contains slightly more info than my posting earlier today. If both are posted, then please forgive this newbie writer.
