Jeff, I too descend from John W. Bloodworth and Sarah Ann Williams.Their youngest son, Henry Washington Bloodworth is my direct ancestor.I joined the UDC on the CSA record of Henry Washington Bloodworth.I would very much like to submit a supplemental application on J.Q.A. Bloodworth as a brother to Henry Washington Bloodworth.I already have CSA pension records for J.Q.A.
Can you tell me how you know that J. Q. A. is indeed the son of John & Sarah Williams Bloodworth?I need a document or some type of record to prove his relationship in order to file a supplemental with the UDC.If I can get his application approved, his name will forever be recorded in the UDC files.
I have traced J.Q.A. Bloodworth & his wife Mary from Wilkinson County where they married to Pike County where they lived in 1850, then to Monroe County in 1870 and in 1880 Wayne County. The latest record I have of them is Lowndes County GA in 1903 where he filed for a CSA pension.
