Hi, Dean. I'm afraid there is another Reuben, just when we think they were all accounted for. Skinner Bloomfield and Elizabeth Edgar married in Fleming co, KY about 1804 I think....same place as Henry and Catherine.Skinner and Elizabeth had several offspring, Cornelius was my great-great grandfather, and he mar. Elizabeth Elder, moved to OH, then to Noble Co.IN.He d.Nov. 11, 1862 at 48y, 11m, 26 d. NowRuben, his brother, was b.1815 in KY, and they are in the census of Greenup Co.I forget now, what year. The family moved to the Morrow and Richland Co. OH area, and Ruben married Isabell Elder, a sister to Cornelius' wife. They also moved to Kendallville, Noble Co. IN. To verify, go to www.usgennet.org/usa/in/county/noble/and you will find Ruben and Isabell's children listed in the marriage records. They had 8-9 children between 1840-1859. Isabell d.1872 and is buried right beside Skinner (that's another story) and his wife Elizabeth in Old Kendallville Cemetery. Ruben then re-married, to Jane Cleveland in 1874 and then to Sarah Walker (my gg-grandfather's sister)in 1884. Ruben had adjoining land with my gg-grandmother, Sarah Jane Bloomfield Becker, (Cornelius'daughter)in Orange twp. Noble Co. IN, near Rome City, IN.Ruben died 1899 and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery, row H, #8. Kendallville. I'm spelling his name as Ruben since the marriage recs. show it that way, but other records list him as Rueben. You will see that he was the son of Skinner when you look at the Noble Co. site marriage records. I think I will croak myself, if we find even more Rueben Bloomfield ancestors! Now if I could just find the real elusive one b.NJ to Ezekiel and Elizabeth Skinner Bloomfield,I'd think I'd hit paydirt!I'm beginning to think that Rueben lived in Canada or another country since he can't be found in normal US sources. If you find him, I'll give you a standing ovation! Thanks for responding.
