Mary's mother: Name: Hannah HUFFORD Birth: 19 JUL 1805 in Fairfield Co.,Ohio Death: 8 JAN 1889 in Hocking Co.,Ohio Burial: Ebenezer Church,Maxville,Perry Co.,Ohio Note: page 214 in 1909 HUFFORD FAMILY HISTORY.
Mary with her parents and siblings on the 1850 census: Ohio, Hocking Co., Marion Twp. Sept. 13, 1850. Parents (John and Hannah) are with children Elizabeth, 18; Mary, 16; Agnes, 13; Isaac, 12; Demas, 9; Barbary, 7; and Hannah, 5.
Ancestral line for Mary's mother: Hannah, dau. of Christian HUFFORD III, who was son of Christian HUFFORD II, who was son of Christian HUFFORD b. 1716 in Schwaigern, Germany.
All I had as a birth for Mary came from that 1850 census. She was reported as 16 and born in Ohio. I have no information for her after that 1850 census.
The 1909 HUFFORD FAMILY HISTORY (at page 214), has *obvious* errors! It incorrectly reports that most of those children listed on the 1850 census died as infants! In other words, the HUFFORD FAMILY HISTORY has no additional info on these Hufford descendants.
