Hi David,
Taken from Blacks Surnames of Scotland.
"An Argyllshire surname formerly current in Arran, and a common surname on tombstones in and aroun Knapdale. From it's frequency on the Knapdale tombstones it has been suggested that the original Gorm may have been a MacMillan. It is a translation of MacGhilleghuirm"
My Blues/Blewes are from Kincardine c1700's and intermarried with McBay's also a Argyllshire Name. Both families were White Fishers.
