Alois Boesch
I am looking for information on my great, great grandfather, Alois Boesch (Bosch), born inthe community of Ehrenstetten, in the former county of Staufen, in the Grand Duchy of Baden, Germany on November 22, 1818.I am in particular looking for the Parents of Alois, and any siblings.
I am also looking for information on his wife, Rosina (last name unknown) who was born in Baden, Germany in 1822.Alois and Rosina had four children, Lukas, aka Louis, Maria, aka Mary, Theresia, aka Theresa and Josephine.
Alois and his family are said to have arrived in Columbus, Ohio sometime in 1865.Their arrival in the U.S. is not know at this time, but is believed they probably sailed from Rotterdam to New York via Portsmouth.
Also, I am looking for informatin on the three youngest children and their decendents.
Maria (Mary)is buried in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.No other information is know.
Theresia (Theresa) married Christian Wagner on January 18, 1872 in Columbus and had six children - Albertine; Maggie; Theresa; Christian - Married Sabina Schwaible -; Rosina; and Karl.Theresia died December 2, 1881 and is buried in Mt. Calvary Cemetary, Columbus, Ohio.
Josephine married Gabriel Egger on March 3, 1874 and had six children - Mary; Joseph - married Nellie ? and moved to Logan, Ohio; Rose Genevieve - married John A. Moore; Agnes - married Edward FitzMartin; Charles; and John.
Any information on any of these people would be greatly appreciated.
