Thank you for your reply.Research shows Heinrich (Henry) Bohr was born November 1771.He married Eva Barbara Stein (Stine) on 4 May 1800 in Christ Lutheran Church, Berks County, Pennsylvania.Henry and Eva's children: Catherine Bohr, born 1805, Jacob Bohr born 4 April 1810, Peter Bohr born 1815. Henry died 14 November 1844. Eva was born on 23 March, 1782 and died on 23 January, 1863.
Johann Jacob Bohr married Anna Maria Snoke Rehrer.Jacob and Anna were still living in 1880 in Union, Lebanon County on the census there. They may have had seven children - Eva, Nathan, Emaline, Sarah, Susannah, Fianna, and John Henry.
Does this sound like your Johann Jacob? If so, I believe his father, Heinrich, may have been the son of one of the Bohr men who immigrated to Philadelphia in 1749 as all the Bohrs were in the Lebanon/Lancaster areas. The Bohrs who immigrated together were Michael, Matthias, Adam, and Burkhardt.Heinrich would have been born in Pennsylvania, as all his children were, but his father is unknown - possibly Adam or Burkhardt.Burkhardt Bohr was a Revolutionary War veteran and may have been given land in Lebanon County after the war for his services.Burkhardt stayed in Lebanon till his death.
