"The New York Daily Times", July 23 1859 page 5 carries the following notice; "Brooklyn Papers please copy; Bolster- In this city on Thursday evening, July 21, Henry B. Bolster, Ex Assistant Alderman of the XIth and XVIth Wards, aged 67 years, 1 month and 13 days. The funeral will take place on Sunday the 24th inst at 1 o'clock PM from his late residence, No 33 West 43d St.His remains will be taken to Greenwood Cemetery.His friends and those of his son George W. Bolster and his sons in law, Samuel W. Andrews, Simeon M. Andrews, Henry H. Butler, and Robert H. Shannon are respectfully invited to attend without further notice."

Note that Henry B.'s age fits perfectly with the "Baruch Bolster" from the Stoddard, NH records June 8 1792. [FHL Film #16103 (1773-1850)-- son of Baruch and Anna (LUVLAND/LOVELAND) BOLSTER]
From 1825, though, he was known in NY City as Henry B.BOLSTER & appears on land transfers in 1825, 1828 & several others; church records; 1840 & 1850 Census; and city directories as Henry B. Bolster.[has anyone seen the probate file of Baruch who d. 1846 in VT?Does he call his son Henry or Baruch?]
