I have created a small 33 page genealogy on Arcadia Sturgis and her husband James Boman so that I could more easily share what I have with descendants. Also, I published a John Sturgis book but at the time did not know about about Arcadia. I only printed five copies of the Sturgis book because of the size (430 pages)and expense. I sent one copy to the LDS in Salt Lake where they have placed it on film or microfiche. You might want to order the film/microfiche for review, as it has the history of the Sturgis family back to 1650 and some unique records on the Sturgis.
I had the information to find Arcadia but did not recognize. My direct Ancestor, William Morgan (nephew to Arcadia) was in the 1840 Hancock County, Illinois census and I had the page but could not understant why he was there. He was listed adjacent to Arcadia.
A descendant in California sent me some pictures of several of Arcadia's brothers and sisters which I put in the Sturgis book.I agreed to only distribute copies of them to descendants as they are unique -- but you qualify :-) I would contact you directly but your address is "hidden". I would like to have a good enough copy that I could scan and put in my photo program.
