Hello, This may be old news to all but for those who don't have this info here goes: I just found the following: Source: 1870 Johnson County, Illinois census, Page 403, lines 36-37 and 38 Lollis, Benjamin, age 81, male, married, farmer, born in Virginia Lollis, Elizabeth, age 71, female, married born in Virginia Deaton, Perly, age 10, born Illinois
Also my line is: Benjamin and Elizabeth Bondurant Lollis, their daughter, Lucinda who married James Deaton, their daughter Manerva Jane who marriee Joseph Newton Buckner. I suspect that Elizabeth and Benjamin are buried right their in Johnson Co.
also I have census information on the children of James Deaton and Lucinda Lollis. It appears that Lucinda died and James remarried and the new wife raised a good portion of the children however Lucinda was alive in 1850 living in DeKalbCounty, Alabama with her husband James and thier children George, Manerva J., Henry, Alfensene, Ben D. and also a Marshall Lollace.
The 1860 Williamson County, Illinois census shows the same family but with James having a new wife names Melinda. Children George W., Manerva, Henry, Bender, Willim T, Thomas and Andrew were still living in thehousehold.
So Lucinda Lollis Deaton, daughter of Benjamin Lollis and Elizabeth Bondurant perhaps had the last child ANdrew J., age 3 and died definitely between 1850 and 1860 and perhaps between abt. 1856 and 1860.
Anyone who would like this info that I have on these children and who they married, I have some of it not much, please let me know. I am taking a few days off work to do some research and will be happy to post what I have.
