Nearly 15 years later, the Catskill Recorder 21 Jan 1881: In Iowa, Jan. 10, Deborah, widow of John Bonestel, formerly of Catskill, aged 91.Mrs. Bonestel died at the residence of her son-in-law, G.E. Fitch, in Butte County.Interment in Cairo.
This is not my direct line...just happened to come across it when researching Jacob Bonesteel's family, also of Catskill (Palenville).I think John and Jacob may have been brothers, however.I'd appreciate any details / info about this family!!!If you're related to John, please contact me....I'd love to compare notes and share info!
