Mary Ball mother of George Washington
I know that Mary Ball (the mother of George Washington) was orphaned at the age of 13, and her guardian became Col. George Eskridge who was married to Rebecca Bonum.
However in information that I find about Mary Ball, it says that she split her time between Geroge Eskridge and "her half sister Elizabeth Bonum".
I pasted this from

By age thirteen, both of Mary’s parents had died. Mary spent the next nine years dividing her time between her half sister, Elizabeth Bonum, and Colonel George Eskridge, her guardian. Little is known of these years, but it is believed that Mary Ball was tutored in with the other children on the Eskridge plantation where she learned read and write. She was also an avid horsewoman.
My question is who is Elizabeth Bonum. Is that her married name or her maiden name and who were her parents.
Thanks
