I noticed you have James Scarbrough as the husband of both Rebecca and Elizabeth, I believe based on the obits my grandmother saved that he was only Rebecca's husband.
Samuel's wife was Mary Elizabeth Michael, their marriage date was April 16, 1865 in Trilla, Il. Samuel is buried in the Dodge Grove Cemetary in Bloomington Il.
Your Jane is actually Eliza Jane born 1/25/45 died 10/17/27, buried in Toledo Il. Her husband was Alfred L. Hall. They had 4 children; Annie, Ollie, Joseph and Mamie. All of their pictures are out on my web site as my grandmother was very close to Mamie.
Adeline's husband's last name was Bainge, I have the obit and pictures of them as well.
James William's wife Emma Hill was the daughter of James Berguin Hill (b. 9/10/37) and Elizabeth Corbine (b. 10/23/41)I don't have the other two wives listed for him.
Mary Magdeline was born 8/1/55 in Cumberland County, IL, she is buried in the Berry Cemetary in Toledo. I have the obit on her.
You and I both have 13 children, but instead of William and Jane, I have John and Bud.I know Bud existed as I have several pictures of him.John is mentioned in an obit, but no detail is given.I don't have any info at all on either one.John may have died rather young, Bud is an adult in the family pictures.
I was recently at our international consulting conference and talked to one of our managers from Wales about the Borruff name.He was fairly sure it was Welsh and is going to look in the telephone book to see if it appears when he gets home.I have seen your links back to the German name but am not convinced that the William Borruff who was the father of Mary Magdeline was the son of Valentine, the dates for that William don't match the dates I have for my William.I have also discovered that the Indiana and Illinois Borruffs were not as closely related as I originally thought.I have gotten some excellent information from the Rootsweb county geneology sites for Il and Indiana: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilclark/http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilclark/
