Let me remember you that there is a branch of Botz or Bouc family in Hungary, too.
There are some variants of spelling this surname since the orthography was not regulated so strongly. In Hungary we pronounce it [bo:ts] but in written form you can find as Bocz, Bócz, Bóc, Botz, earlier Boucz (Stephan Boucz - 1453) or Buócz (Petrus Buocz - 1754-55). You can find all these variants on homepage http://www.arcanum.hu/mol/http://www.arcanum.hu/mol/
That nob.Petrus Buocz lived in Turoc county of ancient Hungary, present day Slovakia.
It worth remembernig that there was a village at the bank of Turoc river named Priboc. 'Pri' is a Slavonic prefix meaning 'a place by the river or lake', so it can mean a populated place by stream of Boc.
I can tell you Peter's descentants if you are interesed in it.
