The 1686 will you mentioned was made probably under duress, when Herrman was bedridden, etc.This will was rightfully disputed in court as I recall. Go to the Md. archives website and you will see the original will he made back in 1665, shortly after his wife Jannetje's death, and which is much more in character of the man. The Md. archives was kind enough to post it at my request online under Cecil County, etc.
