Thomas of the Swan had a son William. I think that is pretty well proven. But William had a will made out leaving his entire estate to a Mary Thwaite and her children, William and Thomas Thwaite. The existence of this will is proven, but who is she and are the children livng in the home of William, his. Is this the source of Williams line and did these children take Williams last name after his death. I carry my line to a Joseph Bowlin of Orange County, IN. Born abt. 1756. Nothing proven of his parents, but I suspect the Christopher of Pittsylvania County, VA, 1767 Tithable list as an unproven possibility, mostly gut feeling. DNA tests proven by my father link 25 for 25 to Thomas of the Swan. Can't seem to get over this hump. Any help with this line would be greatly appreciated, or any ideas.
