Ruth married SAMUEL PEARSON DEANE: their son JOHN AUSTIN, b. 4 September 1843, d. 15 April 1909; m. SUSAN OLIVE NEWTON, b. 28 February 1802, d. 1930. Their daughter LIDA GENIEVE DEANE, b. 25 October 1875, d. 9 Nov 1957; m. PHILIP EATON MONROE, b. 5 July 1875; d. 4 May 1957.Their daughter, FLORENCE GENIEVE MONROE, b. 1 March 1987, d. 14 January 1982; m. GEORGE RALPH YOUNG, 18 April 1897, d. 20 October 1994--my grandparents. I am finding that ANYONE who came over here early is related....I mean, who else was there to marry? We are: Thayer/Snow/Alden/Howard/Packard/Young/Burgoyne (NO information on them; not related to Gen. Burgoyne tho')/Cain/Newton/Bicknell/Soule/Monroe. I believe the Monroes were Loyalists also as they emigrated to Nova Scotia during that time, than were back to ME before 1874, then to Weymouth, MA.The rest of 'us' fought and died for The Cause. So, SO interesting!
