The 1820 Census Franklin Co. AL has the household of Robert Box as:1 male over 21; 3 males under 21; 1 female over 21; 3 females under 21; 0 slaves The three boys seem to be: Joshua, b. 1813; Stephen, b. 1818; and Robert, b. 1820.The three girls seem to be Elizabeth Jane;Molly; andAnnaand this is derived by combining genealogy researchofElsie Box,Jane S. Neely and Margaret Kaestner. The mother of these children of Robert Box is unknown.
In the 1830 Census of Hardeman Co. TN,Robert Box and his brothers, John andGoodwin Box are enumerated as neighbors.Robert Box appears in the census as a widower age 40-50 with 5 boys and 4 girls in his household.
